We know providing support for our employees’ mental health is just as important as protecting their physical health, so 10% of our team are qualified Mental Health First Aiders. These individuals have been trained in how to identify and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue, and they help us to provide vital support for our employees’ wellbeing.
We became an accredited Living Wage employer in 2021 to try to ensure that everyone receives fair pay, including all of our third party contracted staff.
Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Champions actively promote, celebrate and raise awareness of key issues. Led by our employees, they engage with colleagues on a range of events and promote EDI training across the business.
We’re empowering our employees to contribute to the causes they care about through the OnHand app. This enables them to get involved in local volunteering opportunities such as dog walking, mentoring young people and delivering to food banks. We also support our volunteers by offering them a day of annual leave back for the fantastic volunteering undertaken.
