Sales Support Executive


Full time Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week. We have a Hybrid working approach, but the successful candidate will be required to be in the office a minimum of 1 day a week.

We are seeking to recruit two Sales Support Executives to support the Sales Account Management team, by managing key tasks in the quoting process for all the I&C new customer, and renewal pipeline.


As a Sales Support Executive you will be handling all quoting requests and ensuring these are uploaded to the core sales system in a timely and accurate manner. Exporting and checking contracts from the pricing system, and ensuring they are sent out to the right third parties in line with the dates and times requested. Also, the processing of signed contracts and ensuring the correct countersignature procedure is actioned for these. There will also be some handling of tendering queries around this process, both internally and externally, and some ad-hoc analysis and data cleansing work through the core sales system, Salesforce.


  • Managing the Tender Response Administration process for TPI and Direct sales channel.
  • Ensuring all tenders are accurately logged in line with KPI’s, and any key requests are communicated to the relevant people.
  • Identify and query anomalies in tender date with TPI’s and assist Account Managers by obtaining better quality data.
  • Ensure all tracking systems are kept as up to date and accurate as possible.
  • Liaise with the Commercial and Operations departments on tender and contract queries.
  • Create and send out contract offers to the TPI, Account Managers and/or BDM. Where necessary support the Account Manager in obtaining price feedback.
  • Answer incoming calls through the Sales Line, managing any queries.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritise simultaneous requests and manage effectively.


Education and Training:

  • Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent, but this is not essential.
  • Experience working within the I&C energy industry would also be beneficial, but not essential.


Abilities and Skills:

  • Strong Excel, Word, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications skills.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce system ideal, but not essential.
  • Demonstratable verbal and written communication skills.
