Bryt ideas for energy efficiency
Natalie Heasley, a data analyst here at Bryt Energy, is undertaking a challenge in which she will try to consume zero waste for the next 30 days. For 30 days she is going to attempt to avoid, find solutions and/or alternatives to buying packaged waste such as non-recyclable and some recyclable rubbish. The outcome of this challenge is to evaluate whether it is feasible for an individual to live their life waste free.
The amount of waste we create is a big problem for the environment. An estimated amount of 12.7 million tonnes of plastic are thrown in our oceans each year – which is the equivalent of 1 truck load of rubbish every minute. It is our responsibility to try and eradicate this problem and people like Natalie are vital to ensuring that this is addressed.
This is an extremely ambitious challenge and here at Bryt Energy we are extremely proud of Natalie for being so passionate and pioneering. We wish her the best of luck in this endeavour and are looking forward to hearing her feedback and how we can make changes at Bryt Energy from her findings.
